私は、光によって生まれる像と人間の感覚の関係に関心を持って制作を行っています。光は物体に反射して形を作るだけでなく、記憶や想像と結びつき、見る人の内面に働きかけます。デジタル化により、写真や映像、印刷などの媒体の境界は曖昧になり、像は特定の媒体に縛られず流通するようになりました。この状況は、表現の手段や媒体の意味を考え直す契機となっています。
現代の視覚表現は、感情や物語を伴い、現実と憧れのあいだにある微妙な距離を示します。鑑賞者はそこに自身の経験や欲求を重ね、内面の感覚を引き出すことができます。こうした性質はかつて限られた表現にしか見られませんでしたが、現在では芸術表現に加え、映像文化や広告など幅広い領域に広がり、感情を形作る役割を持っています。
また、書物や資料の集積は、知識や価値の構造を示す場でもあります。時間の厚みを持つ書物は、情報化社会の中でも独自の存在感を保ち、そこから芸術の意味を読み取るには、複数の視点を往復させる思考が必要です。この解釈の揺らぎは、像をめぐる体験とも重なります。
私の制作では、絵画、版画、写真、映像、オブジェ、インスタレーションなど、さまざまな手法を組み合わせ、空間の中で展示します。各要素は互いに響き合い、時間や記憶の層を呼び起こしながら、鑑賞者に揺らぎのある体験をもたらします。光や像に向き合う過程を通して、現代の感覚と表現の広がりを探っています。

My work focuses on the relationship between light, the images it generates, and human perception. Light does more than reflect off surfaces to create forms; it interacts with memory and imagination, shaping the viewer’s inner experience. In the digital age, distinctions between photography, video, and print have become fluid, and images circulate independently of any single medium. This shift invites reconsideration of both the means and the role of artistic media.
Contemporary visual expressions often carry emotion and narrative, highlighting the subtle space between reality and aspiration. Viewers project their own experiences and desires onto these images, activating latent feelings. What was once limited to niche forms of expression has now expanded across artistic, media, and commercial contexts, functioning as a tool for shaping emotional perception.
The accumulation of books and archival materials similarly reflects structures of knowledge and cultural value. Books, with their temporal depth, retain a unique presence even in an information-rich society, and interpreting the meaning of art through them requires navigating multiple perspectives. This openness to interpretation resonates with the experience of engaging with images.
In my practice, I combine painting, printmaking, photography, video, objects, and installation, arranging them spatially to create relationships and interactions. Each element responds to the others, evoking layers of memory and time, and providing the viewer with a nuanced and dynamic experience. By engaging with light and image, I explore contemporary perception and the expanding possibilities of artistic expression.
